Short answer: general pest control on the Gold Coast has no flat rate, a minimum call-out of $145 plus GST applies, and warranty length depends on the pest, 6 months for Australian cockroaches, 3 months for ants, a warranty on webbing spiders, and none on other spiders since they move in and out from outside constantly. On anything outside cockroaches, ants and spiders, a warranty is assessed per property rather than set as a fixed period. We do not treat termites, that needs a different licence.

What pest control actually costs
Same as carpet cleaning, there is no flat rate. The size of the property, the pest involved and how established the problem is all change the job. A minimum call-out of $145 plus GST applies to every visit, and we give an estimate rather than a fixed quote over the phone, because an accurate figure needs an actual look at the property.
How long a treatment actually lasts
This is worth being straight about, because not every pest can realistically be warrantied on a fixed period. Australian cockroach treatments carry a 6 month warranty. Ant treatments carry a 3 month warranty. Webbing spiders carry a warranty. Other spiders do not carry one at all. That is not us avoiding responsibility, it is honesty about how these pests behave, spiders in particular move in and out from surrounding bush, neighbouring properties and drainage constantly, and no treatment can promise a Gold Coast backyard will never see another spider. For the add on pests, rodents, fleas, silverfish and wasps among them, a warranty may still apply. It depends on the circumstances at the property and on the infestation, so we tell you where you stand when the job is scoped.

Spiders, including redbacks around outdoor furniture and sheds
Fleas, particularly where pets are present
